June 2010 Update:
Andrew decided to stay local with racing, being he had some problems this season 4 snapped Dura-Blue Axles which are to be unbreakable.  This past weekend we where at Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ for the Tri-State Qualifier. Everything was great in practice, he felt good being home with all his friends that he had not raced with since he started the Nationals 3 years ago.  Moto 1 was a great start, 3rd out of the hole, had a strong third place the whole race until the last lap when he went over the plunge and snapped another axle. Where looking to do something with the rear swingarm and axle to end this problem.

Andrew wrapped up the 7th grade with a 97 avg and made honor roll.  Way to go!!

He will being spending the summer practicing and taking private lessons from Joel Hetrick And John Natalie. He will also be doing some wrestling at the Long Branch Summer Wrestling Tournament.
Round 5: ATV Stampede at Steel City Raceway - 5/27/2010 - Delmont, PA
Andrew headed to the legendary Steel City this weekend for the ATV Stampede and ran well in the 90 CVT (8-15) class.  He finished in 8th place  in moto 1 and a 16th place finish in moto 2 resulting in a 16th place finish overall.  Andrew had a great moto 2 start and was running a strong 6th place the entire moto.  Unfortunately, 50yds before the finish he shredded the CVT drive belt.  He rode well and kept his head up despite the mechanical.  Andrew and his Dad want to thank Justin from Maximum RPM for his backing this past weekend.

Andrew Ciccone / Racing His Best
Sometimes things just don't go your way, but, you don't give up. Such is the case with young Andrew Ciccone of Morganville, NJ. After the first three rounds of this year's AMA-ATV Motocross Championships, Ciccone sits in 16$th place out of 31 contestants in the overall standings in the 90 CVT (8-15) class. Although his race luck, which went South at the opener when he didn't make one of the motos, Ciccone, a Hetrick Racing sponsored youth, hasn't let his results this season slow him down. As a matter of fact, he's inspired and looking good on the track.
