Mushin Racing's Impressive Youth Outing ATV Young Guns Press Release Mushin
Racing's Andrew Cicconehad his share of mulligans during the first four rounds of the 2011 AMA-ATV Motocross Championships but didn't let that get him down. Putting on his race face and ready for competition, Ciccone went out at Sunset Ridge in the 90 CVT (8-15) class and put in his best performance on the season. With 5-5 moto scores, Andrew brought home the fourth place overall for the event, a place he should be, maybe better, and a place he plans to improve on in the upcoming rounds. ten in the overall series' standings in the class. But, with a good run at the remaining six rounds, and, since he's only four points shy of tenth place in the rankings at this point, this young ATV racer from New Jersey should be able to overcome his early season adversity and finish well up in the standings. June 2010 Update:
Andrew decided to stay local with racing, being he had some problems this season 4 snapped Dura-Blue Axles which are to be unbreakable. This past weekend we where at Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ for the Tri-State Qualifier. Everything was great in practice, he felt good being home with all his friends that he had not raced with since he started the Nationals 3 years ago. Moto 1 was a great start, 3rd out of the hole, had a strong third place the whole race until the last lap when he went over the plunge and snapped another axle. Where looking to do something with the rear swingarm and axle to end this problem. Andrew wrapped up the 7th grade with a 97 avg and made honor roll. Way to go!!

Although his race luck, which went South at the opener when he didn't make one of the motos, Ciccone, a Hetrick Racing sponsored youth, hasn't let his results this season slow him down. As a matter of fact, he's inspired and looking good on the track. Read the full ATV Young Guns article |
